Every year we see many people caught out having little or no antifreeze, meaning their car is off the road for a day or two and in some cases serious damage may occur.

Likewise, car tyre pressures are checked. Excuse the analogy, but football isn't played with a deflated ball because the performance of the players and the overall game is reduced. It's the same for your car. In the winter in poor weather conditions, you need as much grip/traction as possible. If your tyres are over or under inflated contact with the road is reduced making your vehicle unsafe for you and other road users.

It is essential to have your tyres regularly checked for sufficient tread depth and replace them when worn below 1.6 mm.
