- How much does an MOT test cost?
- The current price is £50.35
- What happens if my car fails the test and needs repairs?
- We will discuss the faults that need attention and quote you for the cost of repairs.
- If I take my car away to either repair myself or take to another company do I have to pay again for a re-test?
- Under some circumstances, minor items which are repaired and the vehicle then returned within 24 hours, there is no further charge. However anything of a more extensive nature (suspension, brakes, steering, welding) the entire vehicle will have to be re examined within 10 days, for which we charge half the current fee.
- I have some time left on my old MOT certificate, can this be added to my new certificate?
- Yes, the extra days can be added up to 30 days before it expires.
- I am worried about the cam-belt on my car, can you help?
- We will be only too pleased to advise you about cam-belt replacement in relation to your car, please contact us.
- I'm not sure whether my car needs a service?
- The different manufacturers use many types of service schedule, either 6000 mile intervals or 10000 mile schedules. Please call us and we can advise you of the various servicing requirements needed for your car.
